The Black Scrolls 2016-2019

Cove Park is an international artists residency centre located on an outstanding rural site on Scotland’s west coast. Our residencies support the development of new work by national and international artists, groups and organisations working in all art forms. www.

In 2016 I was awarded a visual arts Development Award from #Upland Arts in partnership with #Creative Scotland, allowing me supported time and space to develop my practice further. /

Limiting my materials to a variety of paper, black and white emulsion paint, Sketchbooks, graphite and pencils my focus turned to exploring drawing in its broadest sense.

The Black Scrolls is the first installation created after my residency at Cove Park.
